Knowledge that is not forgotten: an exhibition on Italian entrepreneurs in Argentina at the Museo del Mare in Genoa
Next March 31, at 5:30 p.m., at the Galata Museo del Mare - Calata De Mari, 1, Genoa, the exhibition will be opened "Knowledge that is not forgotten: the heritage of Italian businesses and entrepreneurs in Argentina."
The exhibition, curated by Francesca Fauri and Donatella Strangio, recounts the transmission of knowledge related to the industrial heritage of migrant entrepreneurs and large Italian companies that decided to open an assembly or production plant in Argentina. The research team collected original photographs of Italian companies in Argentina, scenes of daily work and advertising images from Italian and Argentine archives. This striking photographic anthology is accompanied by a brief history of each company in Argentina and aims to document the influence and success of Italian migrants and entrepreneurs in this country.
